Men’s Camp

This camp is a three-day journey into the recovery of their masculine heart. Originally inspired by the writings of John Eldredge in the book “Wild at Heart”. This is not the average ‘Christian men’s retreat’, geared to the re-education of a man in his role as ‘The nice guy’, but a call to arms in terms of the spiritual warfare that is wrecking us, our marriages, our children, our schools, our country and everything else we hold sacred. This weekend event is an opportunity to rediscover true biblical masculinity and the need for men to lean to walk in it. In addition, men are offered insight into the true significance of biblical femininity. These understandings are critical for all men as they breath life and guidance into their relationships with other men, their wives, their sons and their daughters.

The camp is based north of Waco in Ross, Texas. The location provides the setting for men to come together to spend time in the undisturbed presence of God, and to realize their true place in God’s Kingdom and in His army.

The weekend resembles boot camp more than it resembles a weekend break – there is much to do! Through teaching sessions, movie clips, praise & worship time, and reflection & journaling, men are blessed with the opportunity of spending time with God; to find their heart (the one that God intended) and to hear from the living God.

It is essential that men come to the camp with expectations. This is an experience that many others have spoken about as being ‘life-changing’ – and so it follows that you should arrive with excitement in your heart.

All attendee’s must pre-register online. Registration closes several days before the event begins. The weekend begins with camp check-in between 5:00 & 6:00 pm Friday evening, and ends approximately 3:00 pm on Sunday afternoon. The cost of the event is $150 per man and includes all meals and functions. We talk about camp, and we mean just that – this is not the kind of event that can be held in the comfort of a church fellowship hall – we will be spending our time in God’s land, in tents and around the campfire!

Because of the nature of the camp, we stress that this is not designed to be a father/son retreat. Please do not arrange for your son (or father!) to accompany you. You would probably enjoy the experience best with a small group of close friends.

Ladies Camp

Based on the same fundamental principles of the Men’s Camp, the Ladies Camp offers the same messaging and opportunities for the women into the recovery of their feminine heart. Formatted specifically for the feminine heart, the Ladies Camp uses the same verbiage and outline as the Men’s Camp so that men and women have a common language of understanding for future intimate conversation leading to both growth as a couple and individual spiritual growth.
